The Mission of the Master Teacher

A Course in Miracles is a self-study spiritual thought system that offers a way of changing one's perception of reality. The course is taught through three books: the Text, which lays out the concepts that form its thought system; the Workbook for Students, with its 365 daily lessons that emphasize experience rather than belief in a theology; and the Manual for Teachers, which answers questions about the course and provides guidance for teaching it.

Master teachers have a profound sense of humanity and a seemingly boundless capacity to care about their students. They know their students as individuals, both inside and outside of the classroom, and they use this knowledge to guide them in their pedagogical choices.

They understand the importance of character education and work to ensure that their students learn how to interact with each other in a respectful manner. They also strive to help their students develop a sense of responsibility and a love for learning.

The Teachings of the Master Teacher

The Master Teacher’s Discourses

This website is dedicated to the advanced teachings of A Course in Miracles and provides an opportunity for teachers to take their understanding from theory to practice and experience. It consists of transcripts of the Master Teacher’s discourses. His teachings are an elucidation of the illuminations found in Jesus’ teachings, A Course in Miracles and other spiritual texts. He speaks with the authority and insight of enlightenment, and his communication is designed to serve as catalysts and stimulants to awakening.

The discourses are recorded extemporaneously, and little editing was done in hopes of maintaining and conveying the exciting, spontaneous spiritual continuity of these communications. He teaches you how to remember the light correspondence that is your true Divine nature. He also shows you how to experience transformation as a natural occurrence of your evolution from time to eternity. It is a rite of passage that releases you from the ego’s necessity to retain the illusion of separation and returns you to your eternal identity as the one with God.

The Master Teacher’s Teachings

The Master Teacher teaches that learning is not only about facts and figures, but also about the processes involved in understanding these concepts. He uses real-life examples, tells stories, and encourages students to express their ideas in class presentations. He keeps his content current and is familiar with the latest field and laboratory research in his subject area.

He has a deep love for his subject and his teaching, and he is enthusiastic about sharing his passion with students. He is sensitive to the effect that his presentation style and classroom behavior have on student learning, and he solicits feedback from students multiple times throughout each academic term rather than relying solely on end-of-semester course evaluations.

He sets high academic standards and requires students to work hard in order to earn high course grades. He understands that not all students will meet these expectations and he strives to provide the most effective support for those who struggle.
